Hotel Sogo CEO Talks about their Adaptation to the New Normal Mr. Reynaldo Malaca, Chief Executive Officer of Hotel Sogo, shares their new normal operational measures, which focus on safety, disinfection and sanitation of the hotels.

Hotel Sogo unveiled new measures to re-establish confidence in the hotel industry as they adapt to the “new normal” state.

As part of their “So Clean, So Good, So Safe” campaign under its Sogo, So Safe Program, the hotel increase its cleanliness standards to meet the new health and safety challenges brought on by this pandemic.

Hotel Sogo continuously achieving meaningful action plans by optimizing hotel protocols across its branches nationwide. This immediate response was established to fully secure the safety of its employees especially all the frontliners, OFWs, and seafarer repatriates who are currently sheltering in their hotels.

Hotel Sogo is also implementing ultraviolet light technology for sanitizing the rooms, toilet, cash registers, keycard cases, elevator buttons, and its ceiling, room door handles for an enhanced cleaning and disinfection processes.

To further protect everyone’s safety, Hotel Sogo also installed Anti-Microbial Copper Film in hotel surfaces. They also installed 3M Filtrete™ Electrostatic Air Filters in all rooms. Aside from adhering to WHO, New Normal guidelines, Hotel Sogo added more protection by improving and increasing FRESH AIR INFLOW, to filter and remove air pollutants.

So Clean…So Good…So Safe

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread, Hotel Sogo adapts the help of Covid Sniffer Dogs (K9) for screening. The dogs were able to identify whether the person is positive or negative for the said virus. The hotel will use this kind of method to all their employees, once a week. Once proven successful, they will use the same protocol for their guests.
